A message & video from the Constable’s Office: It really is easy NOT to be a victim of a car burglary. Car burglaries are crimes of opportunity and usually not well thought out. All they are looking for is an open door. This guy came up short because the car was locked and went on down the road. He was flipping car handles to see what opened and this one didn’t. He probably found at least one open car door as he was walking that wasn’t locked, but he didn’t get this one!

3. Some of our youth aren’t paying attention when they are crossing the road or while walking to school. Cellphones, headphones, group conversations, etc.
