What: Burglary of Habitation
When: 9/22/17 at 2:20 a.m.
Where: 1500 block of Hawthorne St.
On September 22, 2017, deputies were dispatched to the 1500 block of Hawthorne St. in reference to a Burglary of Habitation. The home owner discovered the attached garage had been burglarized sometime during the night. Upon reviewing the security cameras it shows a white or hispanic male at about 2:20 am gained access to the enclosed area of the driveway, then gained access to owner’s vehicle and opened the garage door with the clicker inside. Video also shows the suspect move the owner’s car forward to take a gas powered generator from the garage valued at $1,000. Chain saw valued at $400, and an air compressor valued at $200. Deputies on the scene conducted an investigation and filed an HPD report.
